Privacy Policy

The mobile app on the App Store is licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The Android app on Google Play is covered by Google Play’s User Data policy.

How Otomedik collects, uses and protects personal data. For categories and purposes, the KVKK Information Notice prevails. English is a courtesy translation; Turkish controls.

1. Who we are

Otomedik is an online marketplace in Türkiye for vehicle listings, business profiles, messaging and rental booking requests. Fees for digital services bought from Otomedik are collected through a licensed payment institution.

2. Information we collect

In short we collect:

  • Account and profile: name or company name, email, phone, account type
  • Listings, messages, rental booking requests and reviews
  • Images you upload
  • Optional tax details on business accounts (not public)
  • Digital-service order and payment records (card numbers are not stored by Otomedik)
  • Usage measurement if you consent

3. How we collect it

We collect information from you directly; from basic account details shared when you sign in with Google; from map / address search when you pick a location; from administrator account actions; and from usage measurement if you consent.

4. How we use it

We use information for accounts and marketplace features, listings, messaging, rental requests, the business directory, digital services bought from Otomedik, security, legal duties and consented measurement. We do not send marketing messages. Purposes match the KVKK Information Notice.

5. How we protect it

We use access controls and encrypted connections. Otomedik does not store passwords in plain text. Business tax details are not shown on public profiles. Listing and profile images may be publicly viewable as part of the marketplace. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. How long we keep information

Account data is kept while the account exists. After a deletion request, records not required by law are removed. Details: KVKK Information Notice, section 7.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use technologies needed for your session and to remember preferences. Optional usage measurement, advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization start only if you accept. Sign-in and map providers may set their own cookies.

8. Third-party services and transfers

We use providers for sign-in, file hosting, maps, hosting infrastructure and card payments (PAYTR). Details: KVKK Information Notice, section 6.

9. Sharing

What may be public: listing content; seller or business name, contact details, location, reviews and images (to the extent you choose to publish them).

What stays private: email, password, tax ID, messages and payment-card details.

We do not sell your data. We may disclose it if legally required or for security.

10. Account deletion

Email info@otomedik.com to request account deletion. Messaging may show a deleted counterpart as a deleted account. Legally required copies may remain for the applicable period.

11. Your rights

Rights under KVKK are listed in the KVKK Information Notice, section 8. Apply at info@otomedik.com.

12. Security

Account access is authorised; tax details are not shown on public profiles. Security reports may be sent to info@otomedik.com.

13. Changes to this policy

Version 1.0, effective 2026-09-18. Material changes increment the version.
